Test Engineer, Associate

The Associate Test Engineer will be responsible for testing our PCBs, preparing test programs, and designing and setting up test equipment in our electrical labs to evaluate First Articles prior to passing PCBs to production. Perform PCB debug and design Test equipment for future inspection and testing of PCBs.

Your Challenge:

  • Writes, designs, and uses est procedures; investigate and analyze PCB test failures
  • Document the review and evaluation of in-process rejections and recommend corrective actions as appropriate
  • Determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from a wide variety of blueprints, drawings, and diagrams - document test procedures for production
  • Evaluate and test First Articles (FA) PCBs
  • Design or support the test equipment
  • Perform calibration of measuring and testing of prototypes and production ready units
  • Provide assistance with optimizing processes, testing, and equipment improvement
  • May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
  • May prepare technical reports and product verification documentation
  • May complete rework on assemblies or systems because of testing
  • Other job duties as assigned

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace and defense manufacturing
  • Preferred IPC 610 and 620 certifications with Class 3 training
  • Be familiar with assembly, reflow soldering, and other PCB processes
  • Through-hole and Surface mount soldering experience
  • Strong experience with electronic measurement and test equipment setup and utilization
  • Two-year technical degree preferred
  • Strong experience with electronic measurement and test equipment
  • Strong experience working in a manufacturing and ESD environment
  • Must be a US citizen
