Senior Accountant

Position Overview

Our client, a growing leader in manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their accounting team.This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that supports professional development, strategic initiatives, and a strong internal control culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, including high-volume and high-visibility accounts.
• Perform fluctuation analysis and explain period-over-period changes in the balance sheet and income statement.
• Compile, validate, and present financial data and reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Manage regular month-end close responsibilities and support quarterly and year-end reporting deadlines.
• Identify and implement process improvements, enhance documentation, and drive communication efficiency across teams.
• Apply knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and the financial reporting framework to daily responsibilities.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience (experience in general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting preferred).
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tier 1 ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
