PROJECT MANAGER

Description:

Join AZAD as a Project Manager to provide project management expertise and assistance to the Org. Delivery & Performance group, part of the Internal Operations Management Office of the Transmission business line. This position involves working with subject matter experts to ensure regulatory compliance and successful management of projects impacting the grid, supporting the safe and reliable operation of the Transmission grid.

This is a 2+ year consultant position with a high likelihood of long-term employment. It is onsite in Vancouver, Washington. The hourly pay rate ranges from $73.00 to $76.00, depending on qualifications and experience.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in business administration, management, organizational development, computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (required).
  • At least 10 years of direct work experience, including project management and process development.
  • 5 years of experience in the Electric Utility sector focused on system control, communications planning, electronic design, or related areas.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • PMP certification.
  • At least 7 years of experience in asset strategies, Control Center systems (SCADA, AGC, ICCP), and telecom support equipment.
  • Knowledge of NERC & WECC Standards, transmission and power system controls, and communication network principles.
