Job Details

This position is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a city's sewer system, including tasks like cleaning sewer lines, removing obstructions, repairing manholes, inspecting catch basins, operating specialized cleaning equipment, responding to sewer line blockages, and performing routine maintenance on pump stations. The position functions as a crew member performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks supporting the operation, maintenance and repair of the city's water distribution and sewer collection systems, water production systems and lift stations, city vehicles, equipment and facilities; and operates maintenance and construction tools and equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
