Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in facilities management and will be responsible for overseeing vendors and providing technical support to on-site union technicians. This role does not involve performing repairs directly, as all repair work is handled by union personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to on-site union technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and efficiency of facilities.
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities management.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vendors, contractors, and union personnel.
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facilities management.


Compensation:

$35-40/hr


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
