This position's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to; Assist the Hotel Manager with oversight in all housekeeping related operations. The Housekeeping AM is responsible for supervision of housekeeping staff and ensures that housekeepers are trained in proper procedures for cleaning rooms, closets, bathrooms, hallways and will also assist the housekeeping staff with any task, as needed. The Housekeeping AM is also responsible for checking departures and notifying housekeepers of changes to their room assignment list. In addition, the Housekeeping AM will perform room checks for readiness after housekeepers have finished with a room, be responsible for reporting any repair issues to facilities, and follow-up with any issue with rooms or housekeepers to hotel manager in a timely fashion.
