This is an internal posting for regular part-time employees who meet the minimum qualifications for a Librarian classification and are interested in being part of the On Call Librarian pool. This project meets the action in the Librarys strategic plan to support opportunities for training that strengthen the library professional field and career advancement. On Call Librarians provide professional level reference, readers advisory, and technology support at the adult and children's reference desks. On-Call Librarians fill weekday, evening, weekend and short notice scheduling needs. These On-Call positions do not have a regular schedule from week to week. On-Call Librarians help provide reference desk coverage for planned and unplanned absences in the Readers Services division.
