The Assistant Director supports the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies and effective programs and policies to ensure Portland State University meets enrollment goals. The Assistant Director works extensively with key constituencies on and off campus to optimize recruitment and enrollment practices. This position will have specific assignments related to student admission needs and outreach, collaboration with high school and community college personnel, as well as university partnerships. The Assistant Director leads and supervises a talented staff responsible for attracting and enrolling students from assigned recruitment territories. The Assistant Director will represent the University and its academic programs and services to prospective students and their families, college personnel, partner institutions and advisers, and the general public.
