Location: Beaverton, OregonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $38 - 42 per hourWe're looking for a passionate and innovative Apparel Designer to join our team in creating performance and lifestyle products that merge function with creativity. In this role, you'll bring practical design insights and a deep understanding of garment construction, trims, and materials to deliver standout apparel across a range of sports—including football, baseball, and softball—as well as fan wear.You'll lead the development of seasonal concepts and collections across multiple product types, including gender-fluid styles, performance wear, knits, wovens, tops, and bottoms. A strong eye for detail is essential, especially when attending fit sessions and working across varying distribution levels and price points to create premier products.Collaboration is key—you'll partner with teams in design, development, sourcing, materials, and product management to drive each concept from idea to commercialization. You'll be responsible for building seasonal narratives, preparing toolkits, and presenting your design intent with clarity and vision.This is a hands-on, highly creative role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and is eager to help shape the future of performance and lifestyle apparel.Responsibilities:Design performance and lifestyle product through practical insights, knowledge of construction, trims, and materials to produce innovative apparel that reflect design ethos and philosophies.Must be able to develop concept and seasonal designs that may span across a variety of product types and multiple sports such as football, baseball, softball and including fan wear.Must be experienced in technical sportswear and performance, gender-fluid, knits, woven, tops, and bottoms.Member must be able to attend fit sessions with a discerning eye to develop premier product across various levels of distribution and price-point.Collaborate and partner across design, business, materials, and categories to ideate, present, develop, and problem-solve through every step towards commercialization.Develop concepts, mock-ups, and material development.Prepare presentation materials around seasonal design narratives, toolboxes, and frameworks to communicate design-intent across styles and collections.Help support teammates across various needs.Work with cross-functional members within graphic design, color design, technical design, development, costing & sourcing, and product line management.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Materials, Graphics, Product Design, Human Body Design and four (4) years of experience in job offered or in a designer-related occupation.Experience must include:Storytelling and narrative creationTranslating direction and narrative into physical productsCreation and delivery of presentationsAdobe Creative SuitePresentation tools such as Keynote and indesignMaterial understandingPattern understandingApparel constructionSewing; and Digital or 3D software such as CLO3DJOBID: 1094168#LI-CELLA#LI-JB1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
