We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural (Bridge) EIT in our Portland office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
  • Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction
  • Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
  • Occasional field site visits

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering ()
  • EIT Certification ()
  • Zero to three years of experience
  • MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience ()
  • Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements, familiarity with local market design and detail requirements ()
  • Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
