Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of ground-up multifamily construction projects (typically $15M-$100M+).
Oversee preconstruction activities including estimating, budgeting, and constructability reviews.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
Direct and mentor project engineers, assistant PMs, and site superintendents.
Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
Negotiate and manage subcontracts, change orders, and procurement strategies.
Conduct regular project meetings, reporting progress to executive leadership and clients.
Resolve project-related issues, delays, or risks proactively.
Ensure quality control, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction from groundbreaking to closeout.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in ground-up multifamily developments.
Proven track record of managing multifamily projects (50+ units) from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, means, and technology.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
Deep understanding of Oregon building codes and permitting processes.
LEED, PMP, or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
