Job Details

Supports patient safety needs and provides patient monitoring. Provides patient with non-technical exam information. Picks up supplies from pharmacy, cafeteria, etc. Reviews and verifies that all upcoming imaging protocols have been completed by a radiologist, and notifies a technologists if there are some that are incomplete. Provides patient transportation and escorts patients throughout the hospital as needed (inpatients and outpatients). Stocks linen in exam rooms and stocks supplies in the holding areas. Is flexible about rotating from one area of Diagnostic Radiology to another with ease. Assists with the lifting, moving, and transfer of non-ambulatory patients. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED - Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)Expereince in Patient Care. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
