About the job

Elephants Deli is well-known in the Portland area for our fun, lively atmosphere, and amazing food! We like that fun to carry over into every aspect of our team. Elephants' Own Delivery Drivers are responsible for making sure our fresh food, made daily from scratch, arrives at our retail locations on time and with a smile. We are looking for a driver who is experienced with medium-duty trucks or similar. We would love to hire someone with a fun personality that can be efficient as well as cool and professional, even in a time crunch. In this position you will deliver food from our production kitchens in Milwaukie and Portland.

Duties Include:

• Load large crates into trucks
• Push heavy dollies filled with food or Equipment
• Drive medium-duty trucks to retail locations and production kitchens (No CDL Required)
• Help unload food
• Cleaning duties as assigned
• Working independently

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience driving medium-duty trucks or similar vehicles
• 5 years of Driving Experience
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to pass a DMV background check
• Able to lift 60 lbs. regularly

The ideal candidate will also:

• Be adaptable and able to solve problems in the moment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be a responsible person
