We are seeking a Life Safety / Fire Protection Engineer for assignment in Portland, Oregon. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing and research facilities. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - - This position is on-site - - - - This position requires either an Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) or Professional Engineer License (PE) - - Responsibilities - Provide code compliant asset protection and fire life safety mitigation solutions- Provide guidance to co-workers and receive solutions from variance senior design professionals so that you can take ownership of various projects as the engineer of record- These fire solutions entail fire sprinklers, gaseous agents, fire detection, toxic gas detection, smoke modeling and explosion prevention- Interface directly with client counterparts in the designing of their facilities and state and local code officials- Utiliz...Fire, Engineer, IT, Safety, Systems
