Job Details

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Designing, testing, and delivering high-quality embedded Firmware, software solutions and Products.

• Creating and executing test plans and manual/automated scripts.

• Maintenance of the test suite.

• Analyzing test results, reporting defects, working with development teams to resolve them, and verifying defect resolutions.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, business analysts, and other QA engineers.

• Championing quality throughout the software development lifecycle, including participating in Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to development standards.

• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and testing methodologies and applying industry trends and best practices

Required skills and qualifications

• Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering.

• 3+ Years' experience in software engineering and/or testing.

• Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with test automation, including API and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with various testing methods (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing).

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented and passionate about building quality products.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in the Test and Measurement industry (e.g., oscilloscopes).

• Experience with specific tools (e.g., JIRA, Jama, Git, Jenkins).

• Experience with performance testing, security testing, or containerization.

• Certification like ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Software Quality Engineer (CSQE).

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00
