Responsibilities include:

• Establishing database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables.
• Documenting and communicating database design.
• Evaluating and installing database management systems.
• Coding complex programs and deriving logical processes on technical platforms.
• Building windows, screens, and reports.
• Assisting in the design of user interface and business application prototypes.
• Participating in quality assurance and developing test application code in a client-server environment.
• Providing expertise in devising, negotiating, and defending the tables and fields provided in the database.
• Adapting business requirements and developing the data, database specifications, and table and element attributes for an application.
• Determining appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization.
• Determining how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within the tables for a relational model.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience. Alternatives may include:
  • PhD or Law degree with 8 years of experience
  • Masters degree with 9 years of experience
  • Associates degree with 11 years of experience
  • High School diploma with 12 years of experience
• Must be onsite at WHQ in Beaverton for a Hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
• 4-6 years of experience with:
  • Databricks
  • AWS
  • Apache Spark
  • Python
  • PySpark
• Previous experience with our company is a plus. Any ETWs let go at the end of 05/31 can be considered since the 90-day break would be fulfilled.
