The Regional Analyst will take charge of the month-end close process, conduct margin and trend analysis, and assist with annual budgeting and forecasting. Your keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in collaborating with management and colleagues across the organization.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing all aspects of the 5-day monthly financial close process, which involves:
    • Monitoring sales and invoices in SAP for completeness.
    • Ensuring goods receipts are complete and coordinating necessary accruals/reclasses.
    • Leading inventory counts and investigating variances.
    • Calculating royalties and managing payment processes.
    • Performing margin analysis, including cost variance, sales price, and volume trend analysis.
  • Coordinating the input and review of annual budgets and forecasts for region-specific plants:
    • Assisting plant managers with CAPEX justification and payback analysis.
    • Providing training on forecasting software as necessary.
    • Calculating and loading costing BOMs for inventory and conducting quarterly analyses.
    • Setting pricing for internal sales and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Delivering monthly and adhoc reports and analysis for Management and the Parent Company.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and internal controls.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related fields is required.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • A team player who is flexible and adaptable.
  • Readiness to work extended hours and some weekends to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction materials industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst.

Conditions of Employment

The successful candidate will be required to submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and a background check. Some positions may require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration and ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
