Compensation

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. The current range for this role is $144,000 - $225,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits. A successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to our long-term vision for achieving a modern, service-based architecture
  • Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team, with a dedication to remote-first working
  • Help define ownership standards and processes around our critical services powering the future of wealth management
  • Contribute to architecture designs, product roadmaps, and code reviews
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, product managers and stakeholders, in line with our company values
  • Mentor and set the bar for one of the most impactful teams working in the core of Addepar
Qualifications
  • 8+ years building backend services in a professional environment
  • Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
  • Experience building services with Java, Mysql, Elasticsearch, and AWS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the best software development practices
  • Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management in particular
