We're seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the development of our cutting-edge marketing and contact center platform. In this hybrid individual contributor and leadership role, you'll guide a talented team, design and implement new features, and influence how we build and deliver our omnichannel marketing and communications solutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of full-stack engineers and UX designers, fostering their professional growth and scaling team capabilities
• Guide the full software development lifecycle for our core marketing and customer communications platforms, ensuring craftsmanship, security, and scalability
• Architect and implement solutions where AI tools are integrated with existing systems, adhering to performance and security standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand digital marketing challenges and translate them into effective software solutions
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, blockers, and drive innovation in our technologies and practices
• Evaluate and recommend new solutions, comparing custom development with existing alternatives while considering cost, time, and functionality
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable software by establishing and enforcing development standards and best practices
• Communicate project status updates effectively to stakeholders, providing wide exposure across all of CloudOnes product lines
• Stay current with emerging software development trends and technologies

What You'll Need

• Experience: 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or architect role
• System Design: Proven experience in architecting and building large-scale, distributed cloud systems, including a history of successfully integrating AI tools into a complex, production-level application
• Database & APIs: Expertise in designing and maintaining robust, scalable data models (advanced SQL and query performance tuning), and experience working with RESTful APIs
• Methodologies & Tools: Proven experience in an agile (Scrum) environment and proficiency with SDLC tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD)
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Bonus Points

• Experience with Vue.js, Nuxt, and Tailwind CSS
• Laravel experience
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Twilio APIs or other CCaaS platform experience
• Experience with AI, Statistics, Big Data Management, and Machine Learning
• Automotive industry experience

Salary Range

• $140,000 - $148,000 a year
