Base pay range: $129,400.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee designer work and provide technical leadership to the project team
• Perform quality reviews of design packages and assist with more complex portions of the design process
• Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to support on-site construction
• Provide engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
• Collaborate with client owners to establish design requirements and produce construction documents
• Prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction
• Serve as Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings
• Participate in project proposals and suggest solutions to client problems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 12 years of engineering design experience of building electrical systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• At least one year of data center or semiconductor electrical design experience
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
• Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components (switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.)
• Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading small and mid-sized projects
• Ideally: working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
