Overview

We are currently seeking a talented Embedded Software Architect - Zephyr who wants to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Software Architecture and software innovation for upcoming and emerging technologies with a systems mindset for Infineon microcontrollers
• Design and develop device driver software for Infineon Microcontrollers and port them to RTOS environments such as Zephyr
• Be an active member of the Zephyr community and contribute to its roadmap/standards initiatives
• Work with lead customers on embedded software and tools to improve their development and time to market experience with new Infineon products for broad market enablement
• Collaborate with technical and business experts in different domains to bring out the best from what we have today and influence where we need to go tomorrow based on system level understanding
• Be a mentor, share knowledge and foster talents within the extended software community at Infineon
• Facilitate and encourage innovation across Infineon MCU portfolio
• Drive problem solving, hypothesis prioritization, draw conclusions out of analyses and derive lessons learned
• Have a deep technical understanding of low power and security in the embedded ecosystem
• Develop algorithms and architectures which can turn into valuable System Patents/IP

Qualifications

• Master's degree (preferred, PhD desirable) in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Development and/or Architecture roles in embedded system software domain and RTOS ecosystems such as Zephyr
• Impactful examples of signature contributions to embedded software development and architecture
• Excellent team-work skills, working with a wide cross-functional team and peers
• Excellent documentation, presentation skills to executives
• Excellent skills in listening to various viewpoints, incorporating them, articulating the value of solution and defending the ideas
• Strategic vision to recommend new architectures/avenues from roadmap perspective
• Passion for customer success

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $171,300 per year and maximum of $235,500 per year

In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan
