Position located in the Seattle, WA or Portland, OR areas, covering the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and possibly Northern California). Reports to the West Regional Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Metrology Equipment, be self-directed, resourceful, and capable of deepening market share within the assigned region.

Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned district, identify current key accounts, and cultivate new customers within existing and emerging market segments.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers to understand needs and offer tailored solutions. Regular travel (auto and air) 50% to 70% of the time, with occasional overnights within the district.
- Channel Partners: Support and educate the distribution network with ongoing technical assistance, quotes, new product updates, demonstrations, and promotions to promote the Mahr brand.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to position Mahr metrology equipment effectively.
- Forecasting: Daily use of Salesforce CRM to create opportunities, events, and tasks related to district engagement and management.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer support, and product development to ensure a cohesive, customer-centric outcome.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven outside sales experience within dimensional metrology or closely related industry (outside sales experience with industrial capital equipment will also be considered).
- Leadership skills to support distribution channels and representative personnel is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and selling skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Based from home office, must be able and willing to travel up to 70% of the time within the assigned district.
