What Your Day Will Look Like:

As a water systems planning engineer, you will collaborate with experienced water system planning professionals to serve a diverse client base. Your role involves leading the development of water system master plans and planning reports, reporting to the modeling and planning team lead.

Salary Range: $110,000-140,000+

What You'll Do:

1. Manage water system planning projects and tasks.
2. Lead small multidisciplinary technical teams.
3. Communicate and collaborate with public works staff, providing excellent client service.
4. Develop engineering reports, technical memoranda, and planning studies.
5. Identify and lead business development efforts in water system planning.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of eight years' experience in water distribution and collection system modeling.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in GIS, EPASWIMM, EPANET, SWMM, InfoWater, InfoSWMM, WaterCAD/GEMS, and SewerCAD/GEMS software.
• This role involves a hybrid work environment, requiring use of standard office equipment and occasional exposure to outdoor conditions depending on project needs.
• Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, talking, and hearing, with occasional physical activities like lifting up to 35 lbs.
