We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Newberg, OR.

Job Overview:

An Associate Attorney contributes to the firm by producing high-quality work, ensuring deadlines are met, and facilitating case progression. Associates represent employers and insurers in workers' compensation, employment law, business disputes, insurance defense, and OSHA defense, working closely with senior Attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparation and handling of documents, requests & motions
• Review and identify case documents
• Manage multiple case files
• Monitor multiple deadlines
• Conduct legal research
• Communicate with clients and other professionals
• Develop and manage a growing caseload and legal career
• Perform other tasks as requested

Qualifications:

• License to practice law in Oregon or Washington
• Ideal candidate would possess licenses in both Oregon and Washington
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Research and organizational skills
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Dictation skills
• Experience with Workers' Compensation in OR and/or WA

Working Environment:

• Standard office environment with routine office equipment
• No significant environmental hazards

Essential Functions:

• Perform sedentary work involving walking, sitting, and standing for long periods
• Normal visual, auditory, speech abilities, and proficiency in English

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
