Overview

Dunn Carney LLP's Construction & Design Team is looking to expand. We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience handling construction litigation matters. This position will involve defending and prosecuting delay and impact claims, complex contractual disputes, lien and foreclosure claims, prevailing wage claims, construction defect claims, and similar construction-related disputes.

The preferred candidate will have experience in both state and federal courts including liens and collections, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda, overseeing document gathering and production, client and opposing counsel communication, developing case strategy, and taking and defending depositions, as well as experience in mediations, judicial settlement conferences, arbitrations and trials.

Qualifications

Experience & Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation including defense and prosecution of delay and impact claims, lien/foreclosure, and related disputes.
  • Experience in state and federal courts; drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda; client and opposing counsel communication; case strategy; depositions; mediations and arbitrations.
