Under minimum or no supervision will perform test functions per Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP's) using meters, scopes and other general/special test equipment to validate the performance of the product. This will require the accurate recording of test data and verification of pass or reject criteria. Will make complex test set ups as required by procedures. Perform detailed and sometimes complicated troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems to determine cause. Some computer transactions are required for closing out work orders, entering Material Reject Reports (MRR), write formal failure analysis and be familiar with e-mail. Will conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing. Provide training to other technicians and aid in troubleshooting with other departments. Redline incorrect procedures and coordinate with engineering to get corrected.
