Component pay structure: Average pay $90,000 - $100,000
Schedule: 4-5 days per week; start between 11PM - 3AM
Sign On Bonus: $10,000 (Terms Apply) - Any person who has worked for a Performance Food Group (PFG) owned company within the last 6 months is not eligible to receive this incentive.

Position Purpose:
Food and food service delivery drivers play a vital role in the nation's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure that our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition while representing our company and fostering lasting relationships with our clients.
The driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on various local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes to deliver and unload food and related products to customers efficiently and safely while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring questions are addressed accurately and promptly.
Collaborate as a team member within the department and organization, performing any assigned duties that best serve the company.
Conduct all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/truck and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations, ensuring they meet company safety standards.
Report all safety issues and/or necessary repairs immediately.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety driving policies.
Report all safety hazards promptly. Inspect trailers for securely loaded freight.
Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices for loaded products.
Complete all required paperwork related to freight accurately and legibly.
Move the tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailers as needed.
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined delivery schedule.
Unload products from the trailer and transport items to designated customer storage areas.
Conduct damage control checks on items and notify supervisors about order removals as per company policy.
Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain appropriate signatures.
Collect payment (cash or checks) where required and secure trailer doors after loading customer returns.
Ensure that the tractor, trailer, and freight are always locked and secured appropriately.
Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete the necessary paperwork upon check-in.
Keep a daily record of hours of service and log in compliance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Maintain general housekeeping duties within the tractor, loading dock area and trailers.
At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
Execute other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
12 months of commercial driving experience required.
High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent.
Valid CDL A.
Must meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
Minimum age of 21 years.
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pass road test.
Valid DOT Health Card or ability to secure a new DOT Health Card.
Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheelers, lift gates, and other equipment to manage product cases/freight varying in size and weight typically between 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds based on the location.
