Director of Recruiting - Accounting and Finance - San Diego, Orange County, Houston/Dallas, & Fully Remote — Senior Revenue Accountant Consultant position with a global, public technology company.

About the Opportunity

A global, public technology company is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant Consultant to support the Revenue Accounting Operations team. This is a hands-on position focusing on review and special projects in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$68-78/HR W2 (range is provided as an estimate and may vary based on qualifications and experience)

Scope

• Hands-on review of journal entries and reconciliations in a very high-volume environment
• Own the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for the more technical or higher-risk areas under the revenue accounting division
• Supports ad-hoc projects to improve the efficiency of close processes through AI, automation, and other process efficiencies
• Operationalize accounting procedures for new financial partnerships and/or offerings
• Applies applicable accounting standards and ensures compliance with US GAAP
• Learn quickly and work successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while remaining hands-on throughout

Qualifications & Expertise

• Revenue accounting experience in high-volume environments, required
• Strong with high-volume data management and complex data sets
• Big 4 or public accounting background, strongly preferred
• Public company experience, required
• CPA, strongly preferred
• Strong with Excel and ERP systems
