General Warehouse Clerk

Description:
Move materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment. Accurately pull, check, and ship all product and equipment orders for customers, branches, and franchisees. Utilize computer systems and company-approved software to complete order checking and shipping procedures. Manually perform computer-related tasks when systems are down. Receive and inspect freight deliveries in the presence of delivery agents. Report shortages or product damage immediately to the Supervisor, Distribution Center Manager, and Delivery Agent. Stock received shipments upon supervisor approval and rotate products appropriately. Ensure all pickable product locations are stocked and ready for use. Maintain and operate motorized warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts. Clean and maintain warehouse space to ensure work efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Follow all shipping, warehouse regulations, and distribution center procedures. Perform tasks that increase in complexity as experience and knowledge grow.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (preferred). Ability to lift at least 50 pounds multiple times daily, unassisted. Ability to work at heights of up to 36 feet. Comfortable working in environments with changing temperatures. Flexibility to take on new assignments as workload requires. Strong attention to detail in completing paperwork and handling inventory. Basic math skills for warehouse-related tasks. Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills. Willingness and ability to follow safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with inventory software or warehouse management systems.

Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).
