Shift/Hours: Day Shift (Full-time, Monday-Friday)
Job Summary: The Material Handler supports warehouse and supply chain operations by performing storage, distribution, and order fulfillment tasks. This role requires a strong focus on inventory accuracy, SAP transactional support, and cross-department collaboration to ensure smooth material flow across manufacturing, service, engineering, quality, compliance, and shipping functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain high inventory accuracy through careful verification of part numbers, revisions, and counts.
Transact material accurately within ERP systems (SAP).
Troubleshoot discrepancies in shipments, inventory, and missing materials.
Pull materials to meet production, service, and engineering requirements.
Label, stock, and transact materials into specified storage locations.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality on disposition of discrepant materials.
Support material router transactions related to engineering projects, scrap, and obsolete inventory.
Perform and reconcile cycle counts and periodic inventory checks.
Provide reporting and analysis using SAP and Excel to resolve material issues.
Occasionally assist Receiving with PO/RMA processing and Shipping with order fulfillment, including freight coordination.
Required Experience:
1-5 years' experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, or supply chain management in a low-volume, high-complexity electronics environment.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
Ability to lift 40 lbs and occasionally assist in moving heavier material (up to 225 lbs with help).
Comfortable spending ~70% of workday on feet.
Demonstrated accuracy in resolving ERP transaction issues.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience with FedEx, UPS, freight forwarders, and logistics carriers.
Familiarity with SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Troubleshooting receiving and shipment discrepancies.
Flexibility to extend work hours with short notice.
