About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Vice President of Procurement Strategy to lead our procurement initiatives. In this critical role, you will shape and drive our purchasing and procurement engagement strategy, focusing on forging strong and lasting business relationships. You will play a key role in developing our commercial proposals, which include value modeling and terms in collaboration with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

Your responsibilities will encompass optimizing client procurement processes, creating tailored value offerings, and ensuring our operations comply with legal and industry standards. We seek a strategic thinker with a knack for data-driven decision-making, adept at solving complex challenges in a highly ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience negotiating intricate contracts in the pharma and life sciences sectors.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or related fields; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, procurement, or similar functions.
• Deep understanding of the procurement landscape including market trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare ecosystem.
• Experience in the pharma or life sciences industry, especially in advertising, communications, and medical affairs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
