About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition. This role leads the evolution of Cascade's recruiting function –building and exceptional candidate experience, enabling recruiter performance, and ensuring we hire the right people to fulfill our mission. In this role, you will oversee a small, high-performing team that delivers ~50–60 hires annually across diverse roles. You'll strengthen recruiting systems, partner with business leaders to plan for future workforce needs and ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding in collaboration with HR Operations. You will also drive employer branding and inclusive outreach strategies that reflect our culture and values.

Success in this role means moving us from good to great — making recruiting a driver of business performance by aligning people, systems, and processes across the talent lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

Recruiter Enablement & Coaching

  • Build internal recruiter capability in sourcing, assessment, hiring manager partnership, candidate experience, and inclusive hiring practices
  • Drive recruiter productivity and accountability through systems, rituals, dashboards, and aligned performance metrics
  • Design and deliver skill-building roadmaps and peer learning programs
  • Support recruiter adoption of new tools, workflows, and change initiatives
  • Participate in full-life cycle recruitment, balancing hands-on recruiting with team leadership
  • Train and enable hiring managers to be great at interviewing, skills-based hiring methods, candidate evaluation, and inclusive hiring practices
  • Collaborate with HR Manager and Talent Development Lead to ensure smooth handoffs from hire to onboarding and development

Process Innovation & Technology

  • Continuously improve recruiting workflows, tools, and candidate experience
  • Collaborate with People Team to ensure hiring processes, system integrations, and compliance protocols align with Cascade's policies and Dayforce capabilities
  • Evaluate and implement systems (ATS, scheduling, assessment tools) that streamline hiring

This is a full-time, exempt position located in thePortland, OR area. Travel is minimal for this role with occasional travel to Cascade office locations or external recruiting events < 10%.

Qualifications

Applicants for this role are required to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred; Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+years in full-cycle recruiting; 2+ years in a people management or team lead role
  • Experience supporting high-growth environments (200 – 500 employees)
  • Demonstrated hiring experience in DEI hiring, hiring manager enablement, and TA process improvement.

Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. The hiring pay target for this position in Portland Oregon is $92,400 - $115,500/year. However, the final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, internal equity, and geographical location if different than the above.
