Senior Accountant role at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS). Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr. Location: Portland, Oregon. Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cash and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure proper recording of transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper classification of assets, liabilities, and revenue.
• Support external audits, compliance reporting, and tax filings.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll and multi-entity intercompany billings.
• Perform out-of-cycle payroll accounting, including multi-entity intercompany billings.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis for payroll.
• Oversee cash flow and bank reconciliations to support project funding.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams to support strategic planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
• Expertise in cash and balance sheet reconciliations
• Intermediate Excel experience, including formula proficiency, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• CPA certification preferred
