This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a steel bending and fabrication metal shop. You will primarily handle structural steel projects using carbon steel, but will also occasionally work with other metals and welding processes. We are seeking a MIG and TIG welder interested in a long-term role with growth potential.
 Perform MIG and TIG welding for structural steel projects.
 Handle fabrication tasks and work with various metals and welding processes.
 Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fitting projects.
 Utilize tools such as shears, grinders, and torches safely and effectively.
 Participate in a weld test, demonstrating skills in overhead, horizontal, vertical, and flat positions.
 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
 Ability to perform welding in all positions.
 Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
 Experience with tools such as shears, grinders, and torches.
 6g Certification or the ability to get certified.
 Experience in structural steel fabrication.
 Willingness to join Local 516 Union upon.

You will work in an industrial metal bending and fabrication shop. Day shifts are available from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
