You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment, or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute:

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

More about this role:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• At least 2 years manufacturing experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision
• Able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S)
• Capable of conveying information and training others in a professional manner at all times
• Share and provide information to the Operations Team during breakdowns and needs
• Ability to problem solve and help with practical solutions

The following physical demands are examples of duties that may be performed:

• Climb steps
• Lift 50 pounds and maintain balance
• Ability to perform duties in extreme varying temperatures
• Crawl over, under, and into equipment as necessary to perform job duties
• Work from ladders and lifts

Schedule: 4 day on & 4 days off, 6.30am - 6.30pm, 6.30pm - 6.30am

Payrate: The hourly wage for this position is $40.96/hr. $0.75/hr. 2nd shift / $1.50/hr. 3rd shift differential. Benefits beginning 1st of the month following 60 days of employment include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Wellness Program.
