Who You Are:
You're fascinated by how affordable homeownership can change lives—and you love making the complex world of lending clear, compliant, and accessible. You bring deep knowledge of mortgage lending, compliance regulations, and affordable housing programs, and you're energized by helping people navigate systems that often feel intimidating or opaque.
You love being both a strategist and a mentor. You oversee the details that keep Habitat's lending program running smoothly—from origination and closing to servicing and resale—while also guiding and supporting staff as they grow in their own lending expertise.
You're at your best when collaborating across teams and with external partners. You work hand‑in‑hand with lenders, title companies, and city partners to streamline processes, troubleshoot challenges, and make sure every home sale closes smoothly and sustainably.
You take pride in designing systems that are both efficient and equitable. You're constantly thinking about how to reduce barriers, strengthen compliance, and ensure lasting affordability for homebuyers.
You're someone who balances precision with purpose. You care about accuracy and accountability, but your motivation comes from the people behind every loan file—the families reaching their goal of homeownership.

Your Compensation:
We aim to offer competitive pay and benefits and are committed to equity and transparency in compensation. Basing compensation on a candidate's willingness and/or ability to negotiate leads to inequities and bias in how employees are compensated, particularly for historically oppressed groups. Instead, we determine the best possible compensation offer based on base qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the candidate's competencies for the role demonstrated during the hiring process.
Successful candidates are typically hired within the first half of the Pay Range and receive scheduled incremental increases. When starting in this position, your compensation will generally be between $66,547 to $81,520.11, not exceeding the range midpoint. The full range for this position is $66,547 to $96,493.
