Job Description
Paradigm is searching for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to assist our manufacturing client in ensuring accurate and timely shipments and receipts of materials and products. This role supports production by coordinating with internal teams such as Production Management, Account Managers, the Stock Room, and Finance to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Type: 6-months, contract to hire

Location: On-site, Hillsboro, OR

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will:

• Follow the weekly build and shipping schedule
• Package assemblies for shipment as they become ready
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Certificates of Compliance and special labeling
• Communicate any changes to shipping instructions to the supervisor or documentation team
• Monitor daily shipping needs and notify the supervisor of additional labor requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area
• Perform daily transactions in Shop Floor Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Receive, count, and reconcile incoming materials
• Distribute materials and supplies based on requisitions

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand packing slips and order forms
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to identify components and part numbers
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn company-specific software
