Tax Senior Or Manager

Brittany Bui with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Tax Senior or Manager to join our team in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, you will oversee tax planning and compliance initiatives while providing expert guidance to clients. The position requires strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of tax regulations to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax planning and compliance projects for a diverse range of clients.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to tax staff, ensuring high-quality work and focused development.
• Conduct thorough reviews of tax deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and advise clients on implications and strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to handle complex tax matters, including multi-state and consolidated tax returns.
• Guide clients through audits and other tax-related reviews, offering expertise and support.
• Ensure compliance with income, sales, estate, and payroll tax regulations.
• Utilize tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Lead efforts to improve internal systems and processes for better client service delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and management.
• Proven expertise in handling complex tax scenarios, including multi-state and consolidated tax returns.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and supervise staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster client relationships.
• Proficiency in tax software tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Commitment to staying detail-oriented and current on industry trends.
