Qorvo's Software Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors and Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Development, testing, and deployment of software used for testing of Qorvo parts
  • Implementation of software used to control test and measurement hardware
  • Updates, improvements, and bugfixes for existing test frameworks, including but not limited to User Interfaces, Data File/Database outputs, and internal architecture
  • Creation of tools using Qorvo internal applications and APIs
  • Documentation and support of test framework features, including internal customer usage documentation
  • Evaluate and Benchmark various software/features to maximize efficiency and develop improvements.
  • Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Competence using C++, C#, Java, Python, or LabVIEW
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity/understanding of algorithms and data structures, databases, APIs, shell scripting, and using IDEs
  • Familiarity/understanding of Git-style source control
  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability. Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo. More information on the Total Rewards package can be shared upon request.
