What We Are Looking For
The District Business Manager leads a team of sales professionals, embodies the company's integrity, and focuses on delivering value to customers while exceeding business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high‑motivated sales team, articulating the district vision aligned with organization objectives.
- Analyze performance data, market trends, and access dynamics to build strategic business plans that capitalize on opportunities.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of BMS Hematology products, the marketplace, and competitive offerings; coach the team to exemplary selling skills.
- Facilitate growth and development of team members based on their needs and business requirements.
- Create a continuous learning environment that engages and challenges team members.
- Lead effectively through change while maintaining focus on current and future business needs.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, or related field.
- Prior experience as a District Business Manager or equivalent leadership role in pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong knowledge of Hematology, including reimbursement, access, and distribution; highly preferred.
- Proven track record of inspiring teams to meet or exceed goals and developing high‑talent personnel.
- Experience using analytical skills, selling skills, and strong business acumen within a market‑access context.
- Position requires operation of a company‑provided vehicle and a qualified driver status (21+ years, valid driver's license, acceptable risk level).
Compensation Overview
Base salary range: $174,900 – $211,943 per year.
Additional incentive cash and stock may be available.
