Job Description

Foster Garvey is looking for a talented Litigation Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our nationally recognized Litigation group in Portland. From day one, you'll draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, attend depositions, and engage directly with clients. You will work alongside a dynamic team that represents clients in state and federal courts nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings and motions
  • Manage discovery processes
  • Attend depositions and court appearances
  • Engage directly with clients

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and license to practice in Oregon
  • 2–4 years of litigation experience
  • Experience with court appearances, depositions, and discovery management
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing and analytical skills
  • Client‑focused approach and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities

Salary Range

The current annualized salary range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's relevant experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
