Base pay range

$81,559.00/yr - $95,712.00/yr

CIS is recruiting a Applications Developer II.

Recruitment closes: November 16, 2025, at noon.

Job Location: During training, you may be required to work up to three (3) days per week in our Wilsonville Office. Other days may be worked remotely from your Oregon residence. After the training period, the number of required days in the office can be reduced.

Applications Developer II

At CIS, we're committed to delivering innovative technology solutions that drive operational excellence and empower our teams. We're seeking a motivated Applications Developer II to design, develop, and maintain our websites, applications, and databases while supporting a collaborative, forward-thinking IT environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain all CIS websites and intranet sites.
  • Create database-driven forms and display information from multiple sources.
  • Maintain a consistent, professional look and feel across all platforms.
  • Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites and applications.
  • Create and manage SQL databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and ORMs.
  • Support our managed service provider (MSP) in troubleshooting desktop and server issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan and optimize departmental technology initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Write and maintain documentation, as well as blog posts to educate non-technical staff.
  • Work with and integrate third-party applications and APIs (RESTful and SOAP).
  • Administer and maintain web and application servers (IIS, Nginx, Docker, Azure App Services).
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies and best practices.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Computer Programming or credit hours of computer classes that demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining database-driven websites, administering databases, and supporting desktop users in a networked environment.
  • Experience: 3+ years in web development, database administration, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Databases: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
  • Tools & Environments: Visual Studio, Microsoft OS, and Office applications
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Learning Mindset: Eager to stay on top of new technologies and continuously grow your skills. (No specific licenses or certifications required after hire — just curiosity and commitment to learning.)
