Contract Analyst for Central Admin in NE Portland

Job Details

Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $31.53–$42.65 per hour.

Workdays: This role is located at the Central Administration office. Hybrid/Remote work is available once training is completed and expectations are met. Must live in Portland or SW Washington. Typical hours are Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Active management of contracted supply and analysis of business contracts to ensure advantageous terms and management review.
  • Organization and maintenance of contract data to facilitate workflow and approval processes, reporting, and accurate analysis.
  • Apply in‑depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in contract and vendor management.
  • Develop, review, and finalize contracts; monitor expiration dates; facilitate contract meetings.
  • Manage pricing and communicate savings opportunities to management.
  • Perform vendor audits and expenditure assessments; analyze and monitor expenditures organization‑wide.
  • Maintain contract database and develop data analytics.
  • Research and analyze opportunities to improve contract workflows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field (work‑specific experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of contract and/or vendor management experience required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare work experience strongly preferred.
  • Certifications such as CPCM or CPM preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and ENVI (MMIS).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, financial, technical, and analytic skills.
  • Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, thorough.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Professional communication with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • Commitment to patient‑focused care, privacy, and safety.
