Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an IT Engineer who will develop, enhance, and maintain semiconductor factory MES/CIM applications and manufacturing and engineering reports. You will participate in system design, implementation and deployment, support users and team members as needed, and work in a team, multitasking and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain IT systems for semiconductor manufacturing FAB, including MES, equipment controllers, central CIM systems, and reports.
  • Perform timely user issue troubleshooting and look for opportunities for system baseline improvement.
  • Represent IT to work with user groups on total IT solutions in productivity and quality improvement.
  • Provide on-call support during work hours, off‑hours, and weekends as part of the weekly shift rotation.
  • Develop and maintain Fab Automation functions to support OverHead Hoist Transportation (OHT) system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (GPA 3.0 or higher).
  • 0–2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficient in core Java concepts, including object‑oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with or solid understanding of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures) and basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2).
  • Experience with or solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, JSON, Web Frameworks).

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with programming language C# is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Unix environment, including shell scripting (bash, etc.) and command‑line tools, is a plus.
  • Educated understanding of Agentic AI with regards to software design and development is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, primarily while working at a desk, with occasional movement around the facility.
  • Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations.
  • Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands.

Personal Attributes

Successful candidates will need to be able to work and communicate amiably with engineering, customers, and business partners in a hi‑tech, fast‑paced, quick‑changing work environment. Must be self‑motivated and able to make process flow improvements and enhancements. Must have excellent time‑management skills and be a team player.

Eligibility

Work Location & Schedule

This position operates on‑site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Total Rewards

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $84,000 and $101,602.00 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $84,000 – $110,840.00 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level.

  • This position is also eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus depending on various factors.
  • This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
