Reservationist Part-Time

Transdevin Portland OR is hiring part-time reservationists to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety. This is a 100% Onsite Position located at 2800 Nela Ave, Portland, OR 97210. Position requires 7-day per week availability. Department is open Monday - Friday 9a - 5p, and Saturday - Sunday 10a - 5p, 365 days per year. Part-time employees generally work half-days, 3-5 days per week, including 1 weekend shift. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package with a starting rate of $20.76. Key Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying "No Shows" with customers.
• Resolve service-related complaints.
• Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to: sit for extended periods (up to 5 hours per day); occasionally walk for short distances on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces; push and pull objects up to 5 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 10 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level. Must be able to hear, understand, and articulate verbal instruction from callers into typed data entry using a computer workstation requiring visual acuity and manual dexterity.
