Warehouse Associate, Portland Lubricants
The Warehouse Associate, Portland Lubricants Plant loads and unloads lube oil, lube additives, grease and containers received and shipped by truck. The Associate operates filling equipment and packages lube oil, along with handling bulk loading/unloading and blending associated tasks.
The Associate's regular work schedule is Monday Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Base pay for this position starts at $69,445 annually (about $33.38/hour on a 40 hr work week schedule). Benefits include a 7.5% annual bonus target, 8% 401k match, and Cash Balance Account pension.

Responsibilities May Include:
- Safely load and unload bulk products both into and from the terminal, assist in the operation of the filling equipment, assist in the requirements of the blending department, receive and inspect packaging components, print product container labels, clean up and transfer products, and participate in scheduled inventory and overtime requirements as warranted.
- Monitor for quality control, including following all package-order loading requirements.
- Efficiently organize, prepare, and accurately load packaged oil, bulk oil, and grease SKUs onto trucks or rail for shipment to customers, abiding by individual truck/rail weight and DOT regulations while completing proper paperwork and SAP-related responsibilities.
- Unload packaged and bulk oils, greases, and additives received from outside sources into designated inventory locations in accordance with proper first-in/first-out guidelines.
- Unload and inspect empty packaging components from delivery trucks and position them into designated storage locations and enter receipts into SAP.
- Assist in the rotation of all finished package goods and additives to ensure FIFO and assist the inventory quality control coordinator.
- Operate industrial lift trucks in a safe, efficient, and professional manner according to Phillips 66 Company policies and procedures.
- Follow the standard operating procedures defined by the IATF 16949 Quality and the ISO14000-2015 Environmental management systems and fulfill required online web-based training.
- Keep work areas clean and the overall facility neat and orderly.
- Adhere to, support, and actively contribute to the Phillips 66 Company VPP and SAFESTART programs.
- Complete training courses assigned on time and participate in daily and monthly safety meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Currently hold (or able to obtain, if selected) a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card prior to employment start date. Note, information regarding TWIC qualification standards may be found at
- Ability and willingness to perform/comply with the following, with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work around chemicals, including acids and bases
- Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear, eye and/or fall protection)
- Read and understand written safety procedures, work procedures, work permits, and instruction manuals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in forklift operation, palletizing, and/or pulling orders
- Experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, production lines, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas industry
- Working knowledge of container sizes, weights, warehouse locations, and package lube loading
- Working knowledge of safe and legal loading requirements for package vans and the safe and efficient operation of lift trucks
