Provide personal training services by developing exercise prescriptions and programs for members on a one-on-one basis. Prescribe flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training exercises to assist members in goal achievement. Maintain member information and tracking. Build a repeat clientele and recruit new clientele.
Assist in planning, coordination, presentation and promotion of programs, classes, and events. Design and lead special programs as necessary.
Demonstrate knowledge, ability and implementation of all policies and procedure related to the Fitness operations. Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Respond to all emergencies
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related health & wellness field required; Experience providing strength training, cardiovascular, and flexibility training principles and techniques as well as experience in evaluating medications, contraindications, and risk factors; Hold and maintain a NCCA accredited personal training certification, such as American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM); BLS HeartCode or CPR/AED Certification required.

MS in exercise science or related field. Two years experience in the fitness industry. BLS HeartCode and First Aid certification
This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods of time, demonstrating equipment use, and spotting. Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds essential.
