Position Summary

Work with a team to receive, manage, deliver, and store merchandise arriving at the warehouse for Ilani's Food and Beverage department.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Promote superior guest service.
  • Maintain, and perpetuate a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Talicn and Core Values.
  • Help receive orders to ensure that items on the invoice match what has been received.
  • Familiarity of safe food handling practices, including storage temperatures and storage hierarchy.
  • Unload incoming deliveries, verify quantities vs packing slip or invoice.
  • Fill requisitions, requests for products or other stocked items and distribute in a timely manner.
  • Assemble orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
  • Deliver requisitions and orders to the originating outlet, placing delivered items in their designated area.
  • Verify quantities, record amount of product or items received or distributed and shortages and damages.
  • Verify quality and freshness of incoming seafood and produce.
  • Open boxes, and other containers, using company approved hand tools, i.e., company issued box cutters.
  • Use proper and safe methods when operating all warehouse equipment, i.e., pallet jacks.
  • Convey product and items from receiving areas to storage (i.e., coolers, shelves, etc.) or to other designated areas by hand, pallet jack, or other approved method.
  • Keep warehouse/product storage areas in order.
  • Check dates of all dated items to ensure first-in first-out rotation of retail items.
  • Ensure that full inventory counts are scheduled and completed accurately.
  • Receive, store, and issue merchandise per inventory stock requisition.
  • Rotate stock as specified by the Outlet Manager, or Executive Chef.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the F&B storage areas.
  • Ensure orders arrive in expected quantitates and are dispatched on time.
  • Ensure proper rotation of all inventories in warehouse.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One (1) year's warehouse/receiving experience.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • The ability to interpret and complete requisitions and receiving documents.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications and automated inventory/purchasing systems.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
  • Must be able to lift forty (40) to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to walk, stand and lift for 8 hours.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Food and Beverage teams in a high-volume environment

Shift Schedule

Two weekends a month required. Alternating days off during the week. Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Regular Starting at: $17.75
