Senior Accountant

Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities include: overseeing and executing month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure alignment with organizational standards, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting operations, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, managing journal entries and adjustments as needed for accurate account balances, providing support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries, monitoring and resolving discrepancies in financial data to maintain accuracy, and assisting in the development and implementation of accounting systems and tools.

Requirements include: proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management, strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, proficiency in accounting software and tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and CPA certification or equivalent relevant qualification preferred.
