Production Operator

Our Client is a local electronic component manufacturer and an innovative company that excels at meeting market demands for superior quality in workmanship, delivery & customer service for their plastic packaging products.

Summary

As a Production Operator you will be responsible for completing various tasks within a manufacturing environment. If you are reliable, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and self motivated, then this is the job for you. Aptitude for learning is the key with this position.

Duties

• Kitting materials
• Part Cleaning
• Operating an automated media blaster machine
• Operating Punch Press
• Operating Transfer Molding Press
• Operating Sawing Equipment
• Rework at component level
• Visual component inspection
• Final packaging of component for shipment
• Participation in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience using tweezers and small tools under microscope is required.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form in English.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read inspection, assembly, and rework instructions.
• Must demonstrate basic math skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing
• Competitive applicants will have held jobs for at least 2-3 years at a time with good references.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Must pass a background check & drug screen

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Pay: Up to $20/hr for well qualified candidates
